Hmm yeah, good question. I don't know if I would make it hardcore, but I'm not making it for the general public to see at all either.

It seems the consensus so far is 2D RPG with the main female avatar's breasts increasing in size as she levels up.
I haven't seen as many ideas about how multiplayer would work, but at least a couple of people have mentioned it... though it seems most people don't really want or think about it being online...
And yes I am planning on making something but it's going to be one of those long and "when it's done" projects because I have to do it in my spare time and because I want it to be awesome.
I doubt anyone wants to write a whole detailed design and I doubt even more that anyone could write a game design that everyone here would agree with, but I think the great ideas and design discussion going on here are really enlightening. I think I have gotten a good sense of the general idea I would go for, thanks mostly to all this awesome feedback. I will probably post another thread later where I present the design doc.

I have to agree on this point. However it's possible to make a first-person shooter that isn't really tense - more like a first-person exploration game(Myst?) with a few action sequences or something.
