Basquatch isn't the first bit of sci-fi to use that sort of logic. There have been several science fiction novels over the years that have used similar premises.

One that comes to mind was a novel by Robert A. Heinlein (I've forgotten the title). In it, there's a scene where the main character is on a passenger shuttle to the Moon, and deliberately wears reflective, wrap-around sunglasses during the flight so he can oggle the stewardesses, who - having been born and raised in Lunar gravity - are gifted with ENORMOUS breasts, which their uniforms make only a token effort to conceal. XD
