It depends on the type of chain mail. I have a buddy who smith's for a living. There's certain chainmail that protects better against arrows and better against swords.
You gotta take Deadielst Warrior with a grain of salt. If they were throwing people who were comperable, like say... a Knight against as Samurai then sure that'd be interesting. A Viking against a Spartan... so on and so forth. How they determine who fights who is just screwy.
