I'm not absolutely certain that the manga has the inflation too, as it's a fairly brief part of the episode, maybe a couple of minutes total, but from what I understand the episodes based on the manga are fairly direct. My brother owns the whole manga series. Sadly he took his books with him when he went to college. I will see if he can bring them home. But that is not until thanksgiving in November.
