I hear you. Too bad it's easier to make up some fake fangs and blood and poof, you have all you need for a vampire show/movie. Now, add to that formula the nausea of teenage vampires. As if vampire movies weren't bad enough, now they don't even have to have good writing, just throw some fake teeth on a "dreamy" teenage heartthrob and watch the money roll in.
I can count on my hand the amount of vampire movies I've ever liked. Considering the amount that have been made, that's pretty sad.
