This is something I've been trying to show my friends for a while. It's one of those "the sequence is there, but it's not the (insert body part, character, and/or sexual scene) that I'm interested in" quips I'm trying to enlighten them to.
It's not about what isn't going on, i.e. "The breast sizes are indicative to the sloppy artwork of the artist(s)." It's that there is an actual change going on (not actually) right in front of our eyes! That's what we focus on, not before and after, not "further on down the line" (unless it's within days, and even then, cropped to make it seem like a short time has passed), or that the opinions he/she/it has that tries to show that they are top banana who knows what should actually happen. It only matters if something IS happening. It's kind of an actualization thing, ok?
