Its an AVI file. Windows Media Player... Apple Quicktime... both are common and can play it with no problems, as a first solution.
A final second solution is to have the "Combined Community Codec Pack" then you can play anything on VLC... practically. If CCCP + VLC don't work then you probably have a corrupted file.
--You should run the "CCCP Insurgent" program to remove any other codec packs so the CCCP can run clean. Why? If your computer has two different ways to read one type of file(AKA a codec), then it will mix the two and be unable to read anything where the two collide, even if the supposed end result is the same.
