and to the real reason I came to the thread, magazine #254 of Famous Monsters of Filmland (my wife bought it for a Vincent Price interview/overview) also has interview/overview with UK and US versions of the show.

Its just a fairly basic fluff piece but offers some interesting insights, beyond the fact the US version was intended to "reach a wider audience" and that they are "turning up the volume" (which seems to be code of "lets pad the UK version with more flashbacks") is they are heavily relying on CGI, beyond the TF itself the make-up full wolf the for US version covers the upper torso only, below the waist, the legs are apparently all CGI. I guess that's not a bad thing given our hope for werewolf boobies, but...
