I'm strongly,
strongly considering setting up some sort of middleman service for these kinds of deals, but I need to get a few things in order first. Ultimately, it'd go Foreign Site > My Account(s) > My PayPal > Artist's PayPal / Bank Account / DLsite / whatever, though some overhead is going to be necessitated to cover the per-transaction rates, say 10%? Needless to say, transparency would be mandated from the time your funds leave your hands, to the time the artist receives them.
Or this could be another non-starter, but I'd like to at least give it a chance. Perhaps something great could be built here, like the comic-manufacturing operations of yore.
