Fair enough, though; I'm looking into
Pencil (pencil-animation.org) and
KTooN (ktoon.net) primarily because I'm interested in free alternatives to Flash (both "as in beer" and "as in speech"). When it comes right down to it, though, can't ActionScript be hand-coded if necessary? Given, that's a terrible fate, but it's better than not ever trying...
