If we're pointing out good growth scenes to learn from, I feel I'd be dropping hte ball if I didn't mention the Moon Princess scene, with what I might still call some of the best growth process ever.
Unfortunately it's virtually impossible to find online anymore. Good thing I still have a small version ^_^
