Except that there is a term for it that people simply refuse to use, "Zoomorphism"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoomorphism it's there, but people are dead set on misusing an abbreviation of anthropomorphism in it's place. It annoys me that people refuse to use the correct term just because they like the sound of the incorrect term.
