It only makes sense until you think about it though.

See an anthropomorphic animal would be like... Donald Duck, a duck that has been given human attributes. A human who has been given duck attributes is not anthropomorphic but zoomorphic. This is the simple point that I try to make that no one seems to get. When transformation is involved you have a base human form which you apply animal qualities too, that is the key element which disqualifies the character from technically being anthropomorphic as they are not having human qualities being given to them but taken away.
