I would assume I would just give the sprites to the programmer and let him deal with it.
However, judging from the work that went into Fairy War, he said he had a total of 700 screenshots, I am assuming that's for all the bits of animation and everything. I would definitely want to pay someone to do that...
Off the top of my head, we probably want the following:
5 Sailor Scouts, with punching poses, etc.
5 "converted" Scouts, probably only one converted outfit (more would be a nightmare of spriting)
Jellax
Some sort of succubus
Dancing bunnygirl w/ fan
Spider girl (like Silk)
Smoking girl
Converted scout
Boss
And I was thinking the moves would go something like this:
Jellax
-shoots slime, causes damage
-grabs in slime, then kisses scout.
IF charmed by Jellax kiss, scout gets completely engulfed in slime as Jellax laughs, and then the scout moans as they both disappear into the ground
Succubus
-swipes with claws to do damage
-blows a kiss heart that raises charm
-teleports and grabs scout from behind, kissing them
IF charmed by succubus heart, she uses teleport move
IF charmed by the grab, succubus wraps wings around them, and they disappear as succubus laughs
Dancing Girl
-whacks with her fan to cause damage
-if in front of the scout, they begin a sexy dance, as little hearts appear over scout's head, and she is lured toward the dancing girl, dancing with her up close and intimately
IF charmed by this, they kiss and teleport away
Spider girl
-damages by biting
-shoots globs of web that make scout stuck
-if scout is stuck, they approach web and
IF charmed this way, scout gets cocooned, and spider girl pulls them away
Smoking girl
-damages by slapping
-leaves a short trail of pink smoke wherever she walks that charms a little if breathed
-inhales smoke and then breathes out a big cloud in front of her, if scout is trapped, she is dazzled and the girl comes up, holds her face, and kisses her, breathing more
IF charmed this way, girl takes long inhale and coats scout as she kneels and kisses the girl
Converted scout
-you only fight converted scouts right before battle with the final villainess, so the villainess is sitting on her throne, watching
-as such, the converted scout won't damage you, but instead try to bind you either by grabbing, or a whip/ribbon
-after a scout is bound this way, the villainess will get up and slowly come over and plant a kiss on the scout's lips, hypnotizing her completely, and then holding the scout close, the two teleport away into a dressing room in the background, with only the scout's legs visible, and you see hearts, and then the scout emerges transformed with the curtain pulled
Villainess
-incorporates most of the moves of the previous enemies
-can teleport/maybe grab from behind
-smoke attacks
-can dance, lure scout closer
Part 2 of battle
-she sits in a giant clam, with a giant tongue
-you can only attack an exposed pearl
-the clam's tongue comes down and pulls you slowly in, where the clam closes and she instantly converts a scout
Sounds complicated, eh?
Generally, during grabs, all the other monstergirls will fade out, so the grabs are like "specials." Plus, there will be an indicator to shake the dpad furiously to get out of grabs
Honestly this would be a huge project but I think the hardest part would be figuring out all the sprite effects. May be unrealistic in 3dcg... thoughts?
