As always Apsm, this is tg gold. I loved the descriptive language you use and your handling of the mental element is fantastic. I won't ask you for a Rei story as I understand your desire to do more original work. That being said, I almost feel as if this story isn't complete. I'd love to see how Shinji handles his new condition. More importantly however, I would really like to see Asuka get some sort of punishment. What she did to him was almost, but not quite, like giving him AIDS and raping him all at the same time. Her actions constituted a gross overreaction to events around her, yet Misato behaves not unlike Willy Wonka when one of the kids does something phenomenally stupid/wrong. You, of course, don't need to write it though I think you would do it well. I guess it just plays into my problem in general with people like Asuka in these stories not getting any sort of payback for the acts they commit.
Sorry, got off track. Again, great story. I will certainly read it many times in the years to come.
