Seriously, I am sure a lot of you have pissed away money on things that other people would find just as pointless.
Anyway, a pretty nicely done animation. It is a shame its so costly to make them so you can't make them longer to get in some story. Anyway, all the hate was bound to show up here. Everyone on The Process looooves to hate.

Blitza has said in his posts that his eventual goal is to extend this into a full length work, which I'm cool with. It's a lot of money to invest in a project he wants to make happen, which is what it takes, sometimes. Yeah, it doesn't hit all my buttons, but to see the finished work is really impressive, and I hope that Blitza is generous enough to share a good portion of any future animations he commissions.
And honestly, in regards to the whole "who spends this much money on this sort of thing" argument, my usual thought when I see artwork that Blitza has commissioned is "Wow, I'm so impressed that this guy is willing to invest so much of his money into having art made to share with others interested in it," because, as several people have said, the process community isn't one that's exactly getting a deluge of content. I respect what it is that Blitza does to make the money he spends, since he's making sacrifices elsewhere in his life. For some of us, we don't need a whole lot to feel comfortable, and I wouldn't be surprised if Blitza is that sort of person. He works, he spends a modicum of his income on the cost of living, he's lucky enough to live in a country where he receives fairly good benefits from his government, and he seems to be in a happy relationship.
Yeah, I envy some of what he has, but that only makes me want to get into a position like his. Too bad I'm stuck stateside, where healthcare is a real money sink.
