Re: Brainstorming for Cow Girl Flash Game
Thanks to your ideas I've got quite a few concepts floating around in my mind.
Tackling the cow girl anthro bit I'm liking the idea of a scale between being completely human, and a max anthro amount. How cow like the max anthro will be is debatable still. But what I can see is the role filling that the scale can provide as going further one way down the scale can unlock stat limitations and abilities, while at the same time restricting others. The one I have in mind now is if we have a administrator cow girl, the more human like she is the higher her max intelligence can be making her more effective. For a farm hand, the more cow like she is the stronger she can be increasing her constitution stat abilities to help do generic farm work.
Once I get around to writing down the specific roles we should use, we can tune this system better.
One concept I thought of is including crop growing as a part of the farm that cow girls can be used to attend to. Successfully growing crops can net income, or special crops can be grown and used for your farm such as special feed or aphrodisiacs or something.
The last big thing I wanted to cover was the ideas behind the player's protagonist. As much as I love customization and role playing I want the focus to be on the girls and your potential interactions with them. If we use a minimally customizable male character, the writing involved could be sliced down for not having to deal with female or futa protagonist interaction cases. Not to mention it would be hard for a woman to personally impregnate a cow in any usual sense.
I feel that character progress would be best measured by the quality of the cows raised, and the state of the farm. Maybe we can revisit player sex once the project gets off the ground.
