There's a text story called "vortex" by Spitfire, which has a similar premise - husband shrinks and wife grows, and no one notices except him. It's a very good story, but I wasn't happy to get to one of the later reality shifts, where the shrunken man is no longer married to his tall beautiful wife, and I think she doesn't even know who he is...
I prefer to think that they were meant to be, so I play the part of destiny, and find a way to still get them together in the rewritten reality.
