Kendra is back? That is awesome news. My idea would be to have them be competing newscasters, trying to get a bigger story than the other. They try to expose the growth drug you have been dealing on the streets, which has led to female cops becoming addicted to it, of course. Kendra stumbles across the growth drug first and uses it on herself to literally become the big story, but not to be outdone, Jenni snoops around and finds Kendra's growth vial and also uses it on herself. The side effect ends up being each time they grow bigger, as a result of becoming angry and jealous of stealing each other's mojo for the headlines.
