That's not quite it. I took down the old stuff because of this new webcomic (although when I started I didn't intend to do this new Pulse, but instead a completely new comic). I wanted a big change and I thought that this was the way to do things, to sort of start over and try something else. It would prove I was serious, it would prevent me from changing my mind based on comparing readers if the new comic wasn't as popular (which it isn't), I thought the older comics might scare some potential new readers, and that it's absence would better signal a change than it still existing on a non-updating site.

I do have all of the content, and if I want to put it back up, I can. It's not that it's scrubbed from existence though. I know that there are (usually incomplete) copies around. There is a picture of Xom in my scraps on DA, and I wrote (incomplete) wiki pages for each comic (probably during 2009) on the Ftf10 wiki.

I did have small offers before to do comics, but because I did adult (but not pornographic comics), the offers were usually to do pornographic comics. I didn't want to do that. I thought that it might be better to be making the kind of comics that you would want to do. That if you do a comic with topless women, that people might incorrectly assume that you would be willing to do pornography. My reason for closing the site was not at all related to any job offer.

But, I do have a job doing a small press comic now. I've been working on it for about a year. I don't write it, but I draw, color and letter the comic. I'm on page 48 now. It's ideally going to be a series of graphic novels, so considering time and budget it's probably going to take me a few years just for the first book. I haven't really mentioned it anywhere yet.
