Re: Pulse
Very interesting... this new one seems to be a bit more entertaining than the old one somehow.
From my experience, I find that webcomics generally have more material if they kind of edge around the central plot, and create a group of "plot bubbles", each having its own adventure within it so that a reader can come to a conclusion at a point in time, and feel like they're getting more than one large adventure.
One of the successful comics I can think of right now that follows this model is OnePiece. Instead of just rounding up a crew with a few encounters and romping off away to encounter the perils in front of the "One Piece" in one builk adventure. The story takes time to turn each individual recruitment and side story into a new adventure. (Like Nami saves her village from the Arlong Pirates occupation, and Usopp saves his village from an invasion.) Of which, the characters learn something, or develop new skills that will help them later on as the main plot starts to thicken. It even could be something just to take the tension off after a particularly intense event.
Meh, I could rabble on a lot about story creation. >.< I cut this short here cause I just want it to be a suggestion, not some guide to creation.
PS: the most recent page (59 for those who might read from the World of the Future!) It sounds like he's asking them to strip. Not that I mind, but it might not be the intended projection.
