Its my eventual goal to support myself and my wife purely through writing, I can't do that without actually charging money.

So far its working (people are buying it, not that I've made any money yet :P). I'm sure sales from the process crowd would be brisker if I had gotten it illustrated as was the original plan. However its the only TF erotica on amazon at the moment. Thats gotta count for something. Images make it tricky though. Amazon will pull a work if it shows what it considers porn. So I have a couple options when I do an illustrated work.
If the images are pornographic I can release a unillustrated version on amazon and other mainstream places. Then put an illustrated version on smashwords in places its allowed.
Or we purposely skirt the line and while the story contains intercourse, the illustrations do not. I focus on emotional, rather than sexual highs and lows of the story. This is what were doing with Leopard lady. The result will be beautiful, like all of Amber's art, but that fourth panel in the original TF sequence will be as explicit as it gets.
