Yes, i meant without the 3d background.
I find that a really involved background tends to severely detract from the art, particularly if it's a drawing.
Also, if you are dead set on 3d stuff, take an airbrush tool (you are using photoshop i presume?) and spray in some shadows. Even really simple shadowing will work to tie the two images together very well. AS it is, it looks like, well, you pasted a drawing over a 3d background. Two distinct images.
