Pretty much along those lines. Though I have to quote sctoagntu's great post over at hypnochan.

Normally inoino combines the psychological and physical corruption stages together instead of taking them separately in sequence like this. But what really sets this story apart from other corruption stories is the bit that comes before with Numbers 1+2 in the list above. A two-stage or even a three-stage progression is typical for corruption, but a four-stage one!? Quite a lot of work just to corrupt one sentai! lol
Another thing I liked about this story was how he visually showed Escalayer forgetting about Kyouhei by gradually whitening out his name bit by bit towards the end of the story. A nice touch.
