Haha yeah this is the internet, that's the usual way these things go
. But I still contend it's a manner of "context." The wish had no context on what type of "nice and attractive" thing she wanted to wear, so it just went with the most literal translation. It reminds me of another story I read, where a girl gets powers and can wish for anything. She eventually wishes to grow to fit whatever clothes she put on. It worked out fine until she accidentally put on a baggy shirt, and the wish was literal and made her huge. Although, she didn't mind so much so it worked out for everyone :P
