I was wondering about that one, I'm not that familiar with Touhou, though the names of the characters are listed with the pics on Gelbooru.
Name-based transformations are very cool and old-school, just the sort of thing an evil wizard would do in an old fairy story.
Of course it tends to be better for all concerned if the name to conjure with is something like, "Kitty Pryde"
