I saw early Raimi art and pre-viz on the LIZARD before he was taken off the 4th movie. And it looked GREAT!! I thought Webb did a good job with the first 1/2 of the new movie. But the second 1/2 felt like a jumbled mess. Scenes were obviously cut (what happened with THE LIZARD licking the two teenage girls from the comic-con footage?). Oh well...

I paid for a full-price ticket, and it actually kinda pissed me off. I gave the movie a fair chance, but it really felt half-done,
especially when it came to The Lizard. That's not to say that he was terrible; far from it, the story and dialogue were largely coherent. However, if you paid attention to the development of the film, you could tell where bits were missing. At least the script was delivered well by a largely competent cast - dare I say,
best Stan Lee ever - but it still felt like something was missing.
