I'm honestly kind of surprised there's even a defending side on this issue.

Zekey, now Ranzab, man, this is WRONG. I know how life isn't always flowers and unicorns and there's always trouble around the corner when you least expect it, but you've got to have work ethic. I mean I'm the guy who delayed commissions for 2 fucking years. I have the first-hand experience on everything from serious family tragedy to financial debt. But you have to at least notifiy the client of your situation, if you're not ready to give a refund right at this very moment, because it's just NOT COOL to keep people in the dark.

Edited: Turns out I've been a complete hypocrite about prepayments, so I guess I'd rather not touch this subject in my post at all :P
