Same thing you would find with any game developer. Though the mediums you want to use are different you could swap ideas about transformation. How to put together a story, though he didn't start out with much of one it has slowly been added to and expanded upon.

Also you could talk about the difficulties that come up with doing such a project. The time commitments and just trying to make sure you got a good game.

Just saying that even though you want to do a graphical adventure, all graphical adventures start as a text adventure somewhere and grow.

Also you might want to go to http://www.tfgamessite.com/phpbb3/index.php . The people here have done both forms of usage and some in-between.

Overall I wish you luck and would be happy to bug test for you. :P
