Just because you
can do something, that doesn't always mean that you
should do it.
Here, the action you are proposing, is both illegal (in the host country) and damaging (to the original artist).
To put it in the proper perspective, you
could walk away with the original Mona Lisa, but Le Mus?e du Louvre tends to frown on things like that.
Either way, I trust you get the point, and I won't cause you any more grief.
