The American government never stopped funding, just made it harder to get funding. I'm glad they did...it's just too bad Californians are too optimistic about stem cell research and basically gave away $3 billion away to stem cell research when there is no actual way for any stem cell research company to actually pay back the $6 billion they?ll owe after interest and even if the companies cannot pay California back, they can just claim bankruptcy and not pay anything. Knowing my tax money is being used for purposes that should be company founded rather than government funded isn't something I like happening. Yeah?I?m very wary about stem cell research the promises researchers claim. Even this article seems rather sketchy. Infusing stem cells with fatty tissue? That sounds you?re asking for tumors?because some stem cells can actually fuel the growth of tumors.
