Not to try to start an argument or anything, but if you're going to say things like that at least check to see if they're accurate. I'm not an expert on Java so I'm not going to go into memory issues, but I can assert that the statement about Minecraft not supporting graphics cards is completely inaccurate; the game's minimum requirements specify a dedicated graphics card. The game is graphics-intensive because there are literally hundreds or thousands of faces being drawn on the 3D geometry at any given time.

That said, Minecraft is indeed known for being less-than-optimal in its actual coding. There's no arguing that, for certain.



That said, my apologies for further derailing the topic at hand. To be relevent here, I'd like to say I've seen some pictures of things done in SL over at chounyuu.com and I have to say it's impressive what they can pull off given the apparent limitations. We're talking some seriously huge knockers, here, and clothing that still manages to look decent on them. I have to wonder how they get around in-game sometimes, or if they just pose with the larger sizes.
