Agreed. The point that is being made however is not that it is a poor quality BE,but rather that it is not BE. I know I am not upset that someone mistook it for being what it wasn't as mistakes happen, and though the lack of vocal intonation and facial expressions make sensing emotion a perilous task in text based communication, I do not believe that Teefie was upset either. If my assumption is correct then noone is complaining, save the person complaining about complaining.
Also I would not worry about petty stuff like whether or not people complain as the world will end shortly; I found myself agreeing with Katt
