O: Well, physical and psychological examinations are both key in understanding any sentient organism. Training sessions that put Charlie in dangerous situations are key to seeing the extent of her abilities, as one's limits are tested when in critical circumstances.
Glad to hear though I seem to have done well with letting things come full circle. So happy to see you liked this so much enough to leave such a big thoughtful comment. If there's one thing I've learned from writing action stories is that characterization is a tough business, but once you got the setting going, things just flow on their own without me realizing it.
