A quote that I've always found interesting, in regards to life itself, is; "The remarkable thing about a dancing bear is not how WELL it may dance, but that it dances at all..."
Many people, in many aspects and disciplines, have gone to great lenghts to create SOMETHING, only to be ridiculed for not creating it WELL ENOUGH! (Or, perhaps more accurately, to a certain person/group's taste, as it is a rare thing indeed that is either universally loved or hated.)
All in all, something I am well familiar with. That being said, I offer the following, instance-specific bastardization of the quote:
"The remarkable thing is not how MUCH the breast-to-body ratio has increased..."
