Re: Scouting for werewolf TFs: future Bitten series.

Well, if the TV series stayed true to the books we'd seen her transform completely into a wolf. The process is painful, though not described in great detail, it would be much better than a 'poof' but not quite AWiL each time either. Clothing would rip and be destroyed if still worn during the transformation, and it would be at times involuntary (while under stress, or the very first time she changed). The full moon would not be a factor, her change could happen in the middle of the day. There could be partial transformations, I recall she once just grew claws so she could slash a guy's wrist with them. I hope they don't play too much into that. Also she would pretty much be required to change once a month (though not on the full moon specifically) otherwise she could start changing involuntarily; her body pretty much has to do it every once in a while or things get crazy.

It would probably look like the classic werewolf TF, slow and painful, with tearing clothes, though ending with a quadruped wolf form. Though I highly doubt they will stick closely to the books. They will probably not do the classical transformation, just to avoid the nudity that comes with it. In the books, she doesn't change as often as other werewolves, only as often as she absolutely has to. That results in her not being as good at it as the others, it takes her longer to get started and it hurts her more. There were a few times she just sat around naked waiting for it to start while the others were already done. Also she would transform apart from the males, so if they made a series with her in it.. I would be shocked if they didn't focus on the males during the transformation scenes while she was hiding in another room doing it in private, off screen.

I wouldn't count on them showing much of anything is the short version. The potential is there, but expect it to be wasted.
