Short answer: no.

Long answer:

I meant 'experience' as in the legal ownership or legal using of guns (hunting, plinking at the range, self-defense/home-defense) and understanding at least basic gun-safety (Diane Feinstein lacks the latter concept especially when she was holding an AK during a speech about 'assault weapons' and having her finger on the trigger, not seeming to care where she pointed the thing). Now, having a gun pointed at you (I'm assuming you meant in a threatening way like being mugged, etc) at one point can prompt two reactions: FEAR of guns (which is like getting in a car wreck from a drunk-driver and thus fearing/blaming all automobiles) or deciding to get one for protection (through legal means, of course). If your reaction was the latter, and you carry-conceal or open-carry responsibly (provided you're licensed to carry) then you have qualifications (in my opinion) for having a say in gun-control. If your reaction was the former, it would be wise to leave that debate to the people NOT harboring irrational fears of an inanimate object.
