I remember back when I had a thread which featured a comic called
The Incredible Growing Peach. I was but a wee lad and my drawing skill was terrible. Lorekeep knew this and gave the thread the boot. Fast forward 8 years later and with practice I got better. One of the reasons for my improvement was this forum
