Personally, I found it engrossing, and just the right amount of erotic. I'm not usually a fan of "twist" endings in my fantasies, rather preferring them to continue without end or consequence; however, in this case, it worked quite well to bring the story to a romantic - if somewhat sad - close.

All-in-all, good show, I'd say.
