Re: SheWolf crowd funded project

We have to keep in mind that there are still many unknowns out there. The reason more concrete numbers haven't come out is because, frankly, we don't know where to begin with figuring costs. There have been people earlier in this thread who have reached out to feel out what costs might be, but we're still waiting on results.

Secondly, when it comes to adapting something, there's nothing to say you can't have multiple people working hand in hand on the project. I don't want somebody making some half ass, disjointed video just because they were good at visual effects, but couldn't piece together a coherent sequence to save their life. This is a collaborative project, not "let's pay one guy to sit in his basement for six months, and see what comes out". Our author(s) can have open lines of communication with the people actually responsible for the visual aspect to make sure that the sequence translates from words to video. In turn the visual guys can point out things that are harder to implement, or just plain won't work well.

With regards to the porn question, it is a tough one. Hell, pretty much anything about this that comes down to personal preferences will be a difficult road to navigate. I think a bit of compromise needs to be exercised here; honestly, there's no need for it to be some over the top smut piece. It detracts from the actual transformation. At the same time, I would hope that no one involved will be afraid of dealing with some skin. At the end of the day, I would think that a significant, if not majority, of people to whom we'll be marketing this to are interested in female transformation as a fetish first. It is what it is.

Right now, I'm just trying to push along dialogue in the areas we can control right now. Like I said earlier, we won't know anything definitive on costs for now, but what we can start doing is putting together what we want to see. In turn, we can take that to the people who would know costs, and they can tell us from there. I still say we start discussing an outline for what elements to include in the scene, and from there, a story can be built around that.
