Though not my most familiar topic, the focus of this sub-forum consolidates quite a few intriguing notions found in transformations and I try to contribute where and when I can.
Very recently, after some research, I think I may have found a few things congruent with the topic, if perhaps in a more circuitous, indirect way. Both works deal with the concept of transformation, both physical and mental, towards a state that, while not wholly definable as "evil", is corrupted, debased or warped from their original selves, with varying consequences.

I must prefigure this summary by saying that, after a brief search, I was only able to find a French translation of the original, though the basic essence of the story can be found in the art, mostly ^^;.
This story concerns a seemingly comfortable, diligent and conforming girl's cumulative transformation - physically and mentally - into a "Ganguro" girl, or at least a new persona depicted seemingly typical to that subculture ie. suggestive fashion, lack of social regard, promiscuity etc. An interesting work in that, I considered, it has a twist ending for the protagonist and her new identity.
