either Nolaf doesn't know about it or he does but it isn't well known and it is not drawing much attention so he doesn't care

I kinda knew about this gallery for a while, but… meh. Trying to keep something from being posted on the internet is like fighting a hydra. Many tried, none succeeded. You delete it from one place, it just pops up in seven others. I have neither time nor willpower to keep up with reposts. I'll just starve it of oxygen and wait for people to forget. Just the other day I saw a thread on /d/ where people were trying to figure out where they can find more pics by this «Anolf» guy.
Some people also think that I'm Doomington. I consider it a compliment.

As a side note, I was super impressed with how well nolaf improved on his or her art over time.

Thanks, mate.

From what I understood people who didn't know about TF and were bothered by it and who knew Nolaf personally or professionally started recognizing his TF work by his art style.

Not yet, but I couldn't take any chances. I've had some members of the TF community recognise my style from some of my… more family-friendly artwork. They were nice about it, which I'm very grateful for, but that was just more comfirmation that I needed to skidaddle ASAP. And this decision had nothing to do with my occupation, I can tell you that much.

does TF really bother people "outside" that much that popular artists have to totally give it up?

Some hide it, some embrace it. I don't come from an open-minded enough community to consider door number two. And honestly I just wouldn't want to be associated with it personally, regardless of how it could affect my employment.
I know I really shouldn't have scratched this old wound, but to tell the truth I just kind of miss this place. Drawing subpar fetish porn, random people on the internet boosting my self-esteem, good times. Felt like reminiscing a bit.
