I think the grading in the hair is where the "mid-TF" element is mostly visible in. It would certainly be interesting to see a before and after pic.

I also feel that a bit of asymmetry in the TF would help give the picture an idea of mid-process. Say, one breast bigger than the other, one hand with nails longer than the other, uneven lengths and style for the hair, stains in the skin that might suggest a change. Some of these are easier or necessary to do with auxiliary programs (Photoshop for example), but others can be done through DAZ/Poser itself and would help to transmit the idea of a mif-TF with a single panel.
