Yeah, $30 is a no-go. Maybe a character sketch.
A lot of the established artists implicate anywhere between $200 to >$1000 for inked/colored/full-background comics. Hundreds of hours do go into these things, and the artists are honestly underpaid when you work it out. $30 for 100 hours (0.30/hr)? Yikes.
