TF doesn't really affect my life. My friends and family know I'm into TF and they're fine with it. At first they thought was I was into furry stuff, but I told them that it wasn't really furry stuff I was into, but more the process.

My wife was the first person I told about 2 years after I met her. I was really apprehensive about showing her, and I stated off by showing her some photomanips that I had done a while back and she said, well that's not bad at all - but she promptly changed her mind when I said I had made them. She initially thought they were made by others and that I just looked at them. The fact I was making them made her really uncomfortable, especially the more revealing ones. She also didn't like the pig morphs I'd done.

We ended up making a compromise about the sorts of photomanips I made, and I continued making them. I was just making portraits at first, then expanding a bit, always trying to keep them 'classy' and 'artistic' rather than purely fetish material. I think my work has been better for it to be honest.

Occasionally she wonders what the models and subjects of my work, would think about my work. She's fully onboard with that aspect of seeing me find pictures of random women and turning them into cats, etc, as it's something she thinks I should be getting consent for. I do wonder those sorts of things myself as well, but when the photo is available for stock use in dA or has a creative commons license on 500px or flickr, then I guess it's generally fine for me to use them the way I do, otherwise they wouldn't be made available in the first place. Those models that do see my work, usually love the results and some have asked for more to be done of them.

It's been a few years now and I'm now married. My wife, upon reflection on everything, says that it only weirded her out at the beginning because I was making a big deal about it. If I hadn't been so awkward around the matter, she probably would have cared less for it too. She's not into the whole TF thing, and we haven't done any sort of roleplay, but she just lets me do what I do. I'm really happy with where she and I stand, and feel really lucky that she's cool with what I do.
