The book "The Night of Wishes: Or the Satanarchaeolidealcohellish Notion Potion" by Michael Ende features a wicked warlock and his aunt witch that concoct a wishing punch. [SPOILERS] Any toast wished while drinking it, the OPPOSITE becomes true, and they try to create evil and misery in the world by toasting for good things. But unbeknownst to them, their pet raven and cat have tampered with the potion, cancelling the "opposite" component. So when the warlock and witch get drunkenly pissed at each other, they both wish that the other one will become good-hearted, young and beautiful forever, and it happens! Some time later they stupidly wish themselves back.
The fat cat and disease-ridden raven also get IB:d, for those it may concern.
