I've only ever told two people, both of whom are ex-girlfriends. I've never felt it to be anyone's business but my own, although I have to be extra careful anyway due to the fact that I actually have political enemies (long story) who could potentially use it against me :/

My most recent ex just didn't get it, but to be fair she was one of those girls who was not particularly imaginative to begin with; I'm not 100% sure she got the concept of the world being round. That said it was very disappointing and led to a disappointing and unfulfilling sex life and ultimately I ended the relationship because I was so unfilfilled on so many levels.

The girl I was with before her, who I was with for three years and who I honestly thought I'd spend my whole life with, accepted it completely and despite not being into it herself was willing to go quite far to please me in that sense. I was amazed when she accepted it when I 'came out' to her about it and thought yes, she's the one. In the end we broke up after I found out about her cheating on me, but that's another story and to this day I remain haunted and heartbroken by this relationship ending.
