Pity there isn't more displacement by the larger centipede form, but I suppose no one has the animation budget for that.

Looks like this is from the same studio that brought us La Blue Girl Returns, Elfen Lied, some Queen's Blade, and Wizard Baristas. I'm really curious what they're going to put under those black bars on the bluray release; maybe it'll just be plainly obvious the monster's wearing a skinsuit?

Just checked out the manga it's based on and that starts out with a giant cat instead. The cat is then recruited into the milquetoast main character's harem, as per genre rules.
