Good point. The idea of a 'cosmic janitor' reminds me of the cartoon series 'Class of Titans' where the main characters were descendants of Greek heroes. In that series, it was Hera who ran the school where the protagonists trained at, and Zeus' role? He was the janitor.
As for the 'Pantheon' part, I'm reminded of 'Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey'.
