The second reaction requires a little explanation:
XBox for Fable (later for Bardīs Tale as well)
PS1 for FFIX (followed by Chrono Cross)
PS2 for FFX (followed by FFXII and FFX-2[I regret that one])
For the PC I got (minus duplicates) well over 400 working games (about 100 on CD and DVD). If we include duplicates, HD Versions and Remakes the number swells to about 600 (with roughly 200 on CD and DVD). Include Games that no longer work on a 64Bit Machine or any other reason (and canīt be fixed to work except for buying a GoG or Steam Version) and the number climbs well over 1000. Not included in any of the above numbers are Games from Magazines, DLCīs, Add ons, Skin packages and so on unless it caused me to buy a duplicate of the original game (Magazine Games arenīt counted at all or the number would be closer to 2000). Iīm also only talking about real games, not stuff like Free Games or Browser Games. (Example: FnaF would count (donīt have it) but Angry Birds (have it) wouldnīt)
2 examples for duplicates:
Example 1: Gothic II: Got the CD Solo, A Replacement after the first stopped working due to a scratch, Got 1 with the DLC, 1 (with DLC) when I got the third part and finally 1 with a Steam Bundle making it 1 Game and 4 duplicates.
Example 2: Fable: Xbox Version (not counted due to being a console version), DVD, Steam and Steam HD making it 1 Game 1 Duplicate and 1 HD Version (+1 Console).
My point: Iīm only playing games on a console if no other option is available. Sure, you might lose a CD/DVD or the game wontīt work with your OS anymore but thanks to Steam thatīs a problem of the past as well.

Its likely "Play it first on Playstation 4" because Sony paid them some money to make it a timed exclusive to the console, then it would go to the PC later. I doubt it'll be on Xbox One because its Sony's baby, and if it were, Microsoft would have already announced it at their conference just to take a dump in Sony's yard.
